5.     Mr. Yang Jianhua, Vice President of Air Macau in charge of Commercial, said, "Japan is one of the most important markets of Macau tourism industry, after 2011 earthquake in Japan, Air Macau has continued to maintain and develop Japan route, especially in Macau - Tokyo v.v. route for Macau Tourism . In spite of losing over ten millions of operation budget, Air Macau has resumed flight operation on Macau – Tokyo v.v. route since July 1, 2011.  In order to attract Japanese guests, Air Macau Tokyo office not only co-operated with Macau Government Tourist Office - Tokyo Branch Office to strengthen promotion activities, but also introduced a variety of services, meanwhile, taking into account the spending habits of Japanese passengers, Air Macau Business to Customer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) electrical network as sales platform, also played a major role.  Until now, in Macau - Tokyo v.v. route, there are more than 80 percent of passengers were Japanese travelling to Macau. "

6.     Mr. Yang Jianhua expressed, "In order to have well prepared to increase service in Macau - Tokyo v.v. route, it was the third time Air Macau had recruited Japanese flight attendants in Japan this February, a total of 18 Japanese young women passed examinations and they would serve in daily flights of Macau - Tokyo v.v. route since July 3, 2012."

7.     Mr. Yang Jianhua mentioned, "Although Macau - Tokyo v.v. route has not become profitable at the stage, but if a moderate loss of Air Macau to encourage more Japanese tourists to Macau, as Air Macau is a Macau home-based carrier, we took the obligation what we should do.   Moreover, the significant increase of passengers to enhance our operational confidence, I believe, in accordance with the increase of flight frequency, the convenience of direct flights will highlight Air Macau can bring more Japanese tourists to Macau continuously.”
