|In the midst of March, there was a dramatic increase of Taiwanese passengers travelling across the strait. To cope with the market demand, Air Macau will operate 36 extra flights between 17 March 2004 and 22 March 2004, follow following routes: Shenzhen ¡V Macau, Macau ¡V Taipei and Shanghai ¡V Macau. Solely on 19 March 2004, there will be 15 scheduled and chartered flights operating from Macau to Taipei, together with the 3 flights between Macau and Kaohsiung, that will amount to a total of 18 Air Macau flights between Macau and Taiwan on one single day.|
During this peak travelling period, Air Macau has facilitated passengers with a special service counter at the Macau International Airport, Taipei Airport and Kaohsiung Airport, readily to provide immediate customer services to the passengers. For the purpose of transporting Taiwanese passengers back to their home base on time, Air Macau will strive its best by allocating additional manpower at the Macau International Airport Check-in Counters and Transit Counters by two folds, so as to offer immediate services to the stand by passengers.
