|Air Macau has recently concluded over 140 round-trip charter operations to Incheon, Siem Reap, Harbin, Dalian, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok, in the forthcoming winter season commencing from 18 December 2003 till 26 February 2004. Comparing with the 43 round-trip charters mounted last winter, the number of charter operation is expected to increase over 200%.|
The increase in number of charter operations this winter is indicative not only of the rebound in local and Asia economies but also of the carrier's cost saving strategy, which result in a more friendly price being quoted to the inclusive tour charter operators.
The carrier will pursue this cost saving policy in 2004. With lower operating cost, it will enhance the carrier's capability to compete in the dynamic markets and develop new routes to meet the increasing demands on air travels in the communities it operates.
